Oman, Netherlands explore cooperation in hydrogen ports

ROTTERDAM: HE Eng Saeed bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, met with the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Resources Management of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on the sidelines of the Sultanate of Oman’s participation in the World Hydrogen Summit 2024, currently being held in the city of Rotterdam.

During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries were discussed in the fields of: ports, hydrogen technologies, maritime affairs and infrastructure. The meeting was attended by Dr Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Harthy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Eng Khamis bin Mohammed Al Shamakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Transport, and a number of officials.
